Democratic Countries consider "the regime" as nonlegitimate. Regime's representatives are excluded from almost all European Organizations being accused of trampling on democracy and human rights, and take seriously allegations that Belarus organized death squads to get rid of political opponents. Dealing with the regime of Lukashenka as with dictatorship, some countries and international organizations put pressure on it. EU, OSCE, UN, PACE and other organizations make every effort to change the situation in Belarus to better. More and more people outside the country are concerned about the Belarus's situation.

Some countries support the regime. In such countries there is a very similar to Belarusian situation. Between them: Islamic countries of the Middle East, China, some Asian countries and some developing countries - former Soviet Republics. These countries support Belarus's regime in order to make possible the same model inside them self.
Last time Russia has activited its relations with the regime in Belarus because of its need to use this country's geopolitical location in the Center of Europe. The nostalgia of many Russians for the former Empire and ambitious of the Russian government play in this a very important role. And this all is despite Belarusian suffering.
Many people outside Belarus are badly informed or have no information about the situation in the country.
